Hello,
Is anyone here interested in 3D printing, or perhaps has a printer themselves?
I recently bought an Anycubic Kossel Pro (it was on sale on Amazon at the time
). Wondered if anyone else was interested in this sort of stuff?

I find 3D printing to be fascinating. I've looked into getting a 3D printer myself, the only things holding me back are that I can't seem to find one of a good quality at a decent price, and I have no talent in creating anything in 3D, so it would probably be totally wasted on me. But, for those that do have any talent, I can see how they can get a lot of use out of a printer like that.

You can get/buy designs made by others. Could tweak them as a way of learning too. Or start from scratch and see it as a learning experience.
As time goes on, it'll only become more and more user friendly. Just a matter of time before everyone has one in their homes.

Best bet for designing in CAD, is Fusion 360. I only know the basics so far, but it's the easiest program I've found, and you can get a free license if you say you're a hobbyist.

And for pre-made models, I'm getting most of my test stuff from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/
I'll see if I can find some pictures of the one I got, and maybe the link. I've seen cheaper ones since, to be honest, but I do quite like mine. I've printed a lot of extra stuff for it (dust guards, filament guides, etc.). Installed a heated bed too, which seems to help a lot.
